ACCP Offers Exclusive Student Programming in Sunny Orlando

Attention all student members: whether you are considering residency training in the future or will soon be matching with a program, you won’t want to miss ACCP’s special session, Navigating the Transition from Pharmacy School to Residency Training: Perspectives from Current Pharmacy Residents, on Sunday, April 26, 2009, from noon to 2:00 p.m. This exclusive student session, offered in conjunction with the ACCP/ESCP International Congress and Spring Practice and Research Forum, is your opportunity to gain a firsthand perspective on effective time management techniques and strategies to prepare you for postgraduate training.

Attendees at this session will enjoy a complimentary buffet lunch, followed by an interactive session filled with tips and tools provided by current residents. What sets a residency candidate apart? How do I choose a residency? What can I do while I’m still in school? I’ve matched with a residency program—what can I expect now? What can I expect during my residency year? What if I’m considering a PGY2 residency? Take advantage of this opportunity to have your questions about postgraduate training answered by those who have gone before you.

This program is included as part of every student’s meeting registration. Additional information regarding this session, including a program agenda and meeting registration options, is available on the StuNet Web site at http://www.accp.com/stunet/index.aspx. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando.
