On October 8, 2019, the date officially marking the College’s 40th anniversary, ACCP was pleased to receive a congratulatory gift from friends and colleagues at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). A beautiful Waterford Crystal candle holder engraved with the anniversary date arrived with the following message from ASHP Chief Executive Officer Paul W. Abramowitz, Pharm.D., Sc.D. (Hon), FASHP: “Congratulations on 40 exceptional years serving patients and advancing pharmacy practice, education, and research!” ACCP expresses its appreciation to ASHP and looks forward to continuing to work with ASHP in the future to support the profession’s mission to benefit society by striving to achieve medication optimization for every patient.
