The public comment period on ASH’s treatment of acute VTE guidelines is now open. Open comment periods transparently and comprehensively engage stakeholders in the guideline development process, thereby strengthening the content and credibility of the final clinical practice guidelines. Materials are available at www.accp.com/xf4ybe. Anyone is welcome to review the draft recommendations and submit comments. The deadline to comment is January 18, 2019.
