ACCP will offer home study review and recertification courses in nine specialties in 2020:

• Ambulatory Care Pharmacy*
• Cardiology Pharmacy*
• Critical Care Pharmacy
• Geriatric Pharmacy*
• Infectious Diseases Pharmacy*
• Oncology Pharmacy*
• Pediatric Pharmacy
• Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy* (not available for recertification credit)

Developed by leading board-certified pharmacists and therapeutic specialists, each course delivers a comprehensive review of the domains outlined in the relevent specialty certification examination content outline developed by BPS. All courses use a case-based approach, covering all key content areas, with strong emphasis on the thought process needed to solve patient care problems in each therapeutic area. With the exception of the review course for Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy (which was only recently approved as a new specialty), each course is BPS-approved as one component in a professional development program that can be used as an alternative to the written recertification examination. Each course may only be completed for recertification credit up to two times, in nonconsecutive years, during the 7-year recertification cycle.
