Learning Objectives

1. Describe the key differences between the roles and responsibilities of a pharmacy resident and those of a clinical pharmacist practicing autonomously.

2. Identify common challenges faced by a new practitioner.

3. Learn how to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks as an autonomous member of the health care team.

4. Develop strategies for building and maintaining professional development and lifelong learning in the pharmacy profession.

5. Identify resources and support systems available to new practitioners to enhance their transition and support their professional growth.
