Student Meeting Highlights
Saturday, October 12; 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
An open forum for student chapter officers, faculty and student liaisons, and anyone else interested in learning more about ACCP
student chapters. This session is intended to facilitate an open discussion and review student chapter formation, achievements,
successes, and challenges with the aim to spread and share ideas and strategies between student chapters.
Quarterfinal round: Saturday, October 12; 9:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Semifinal round: Sunday, October 13; 4:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Final round: Monday, October 14; 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Join fellow attendees for the ACCP Clinical Pharmacy Challenge as national student teams compete in the quarterfinal,
semifinal, and final round competitions. Teams will face off in a quiz bowl–type format, answering questions in three
distinct categories: Trivia/Lightning, Clinical Case, and Jeopardy-style. An expert panel of clinical pharmacy practitioners
and educators has developed and reviewed the item content used in each segment.

Learn from experts in the field of clinical pharmacy about the steps you can take to rise above the competition when applying for a residency.
Explore the anatomy of student loans and repayment strategies. Ensure that your letter of intent, an important piece of the residency
application, adequately highlights your strengths and helps you rise above the competition. Finally, learn how to be ready for residency
interviews and participate in a mock interviewing session with current clinicians and preceptors. You can also participate in a special
roundtable session facilitated by current pharmacy residents and fellows. Ask questions and acquire their perspectives on everything from
applying and interviewing for residencies to excelling within the daily demands of residency.

Join us for an evening of networking and connection at the ACCP Opening Reception. Open to all attendees, this reception is your chance to
engage with peers, faculty, and industry experts. If this is your first time attending the ACCP Annual Meeting, keep an eye out for the
designated First Time Attendee area, where you can mingle with other newcomers and engage with long-standing ACCP members. Enjoy light
hors d’oeuvres and take advantage of the cash bar available during the reception.

Scientific Poster Presentations will be on display on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The poster hall will feature original research
that describes the delivery, development, justification, or documentation of innovative clinical pharmacy services.

Preview postgraduate programs on Saturday and then meet face to face with program representatives seeking candidates to fill their
residency, fellowship, graduate program, faculty, and practitioner positions. Set in a comfortable and even-paced atmosphere, the
showcase is designed to allow you to make informal connections with program representatives. You have the option of signing up
for face-to-face appointments with recruiters during their selected professional placement forum timeslot(s) on Sunday and Monday.

The Professional Placement Forum is designed to connect clinical pharmacy candidates with hiring representatives for residency, fellowship, graduate programs,
and faculty/practitioner positions. This event is encouraged for current students, residents, fellows, and practitioners looking for their next professional
