The ability to provide valuable manuscript peer reviews requires initial training and ongoing practice. This session will provide a foundation for getting involved in journal manuscript peer review and set you down a path to providing excellent manuscript reviews.
Learning Objectives1.Comprehend the peer review process and why it is essential to ensure quality science and translation to practice
2. Determine when to accept or decline a review invitation
3. Provide feedback to editors and authors about the acceptability and means to improve manuscript quality for publication
4. Prepare a peer review that is organized and addresses critical issues
