Monday, October 20, 2025 from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. CDT at Northstar Ballroom A, 2nd Floor
Join us for an engaging, community building session that will serve as an official kick-off event for ACCP Affinity Groups. Affinity Groups are intended to represent social identity frameworks and create additional opportunities for interaction with ACCP members who share similar self-identified personal/social traits. The ACCP DEIA Committee has worked over the past three years to develop a process and structure to support Affinity Group implementation within the organization. Through initial surveys and meetings, several groups have expressed an interest in formalizing as an Affinity Group. Some examples of groups that met at the 2024 Annual Meeting include Asian/Pacific Islander, Black or African American, individuals with chronic illness/disability, Latino/a/x, LGBTQIA+, and Middle Eastern or North African. Whatever your identities, we hope you will join us to hear about the launch of Affinity Groups and to build community with fellow members.
This session is developed and supported by the 2025 DEIA Committee.
