This session will provide a synopsis of the most recent guideline updates in the fields of cardiovascular and critical care medicine, including but not limited to anticipated Neuromuscular Blockade Guidelines from the Society of Critical Care Medicine and new guideline statements from the American College of Cardiology on acute coronary syndromes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome. The session will be led by experts in the fields of critical care and cardiology and will provide updates on these guidelines through symposium presentations.

Learning Objectives

1. Review recent guideline recommendations for neuromuscular junction blockers. 

2. Review recent guideline recommendations for acute coronary syndrome and hypertension management.

3. Review recent guideline recommendations for pediatric critical asthma. 

4. Discuss recent guideline recommendations as related to patient case(s).
