About the Certificate Program

In pursuit of its mission to improve human health by extending the frontiers of clinical pharmacy, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) is offering a certificate program for international pharmacists seeking to advance the outcomes associated with clinical pharmacy practice.

Medication Optimization Through the Provision of Comprehensive Medication Management is a 10-week virtual certificate program. Designed and delivered by subject matter experts, the program will provide evidence-based, implementation-focused programming.

The certificate program will offer five (5) learning modules. Each module will have a pre-session learning and self-assessment component, which includes required readings, pre-recorded video presentations, downloadable slide decks, supplementary tools, and self-assessment questions. In addition, practice exercises will be used throughout the learning modules to help participants apply the knowledge and skills in their own context. Each module will include a live session that will engage participants in dialogue and active learning to prepare for implementing and evaluating medication optimization and comprehensive medication management services at their local practice sites.
