ACCP Report

All Four ACCP Academy Prerequisites Will Be Offered at the 2013 ACCP Annual Meeting

Schedule Revisions Now Allow Program Completion in a Single Year

Take advantage of ACCP Academy programming to be held at the 2013 ACCP Annual Meeting, October 13–16, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ACCP Academy offers a flexible, curricular approach to enhancing ACCP members’ abilities in their major areas of responsibility. The Academy provides four unique professional development programs leading to certificates of completion in Career Advancement, Leadership and Management, Research and Scholarship, and Teaching and Learning.

There’s no better time to enroll than now—with the revised curricular schedule, each track’s certificate requirements can be completed by attending a consecutive fall and spring meeting, facilitating the completion of program requirements within a year. Each program will offer its foundational prerequisite course on Saturday, October 12, as part of the Annual Meeting presymposia. Program application forms, curricular schedules, module descriptions, and learning objectives can be viewed at www.accp.com/academy.
