Two all-new Clinical Reasoning Series programs tackle topical issues of importance to clinical practitioners and incorporate active strategies to advance clinical judgment. Each program offers dual recertification credit for Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialists (BCPSs) and Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacists (BCACPs).
“Novel Agents and Management Strategies in Endocrinology” will provide a critical review of the clinical evidence on various agents approved for the management of type 2 diabetes and obesity and will discuss implications on pharmacist patient care services.
“Heart Failure: Current and Emerging Management Strategies” will focus on contemporary strategies for the optimal treatment of patients with chronic and acute decompensated heart failure. Sessions will detail and apply evidence that helps inform individual patient care and advances pharmacist services.
The two programs will be held on Saturday, October 17, in conjunction with ACCP’s 2015 Global Conference on Clinical Pharmacy. Each program will offer 6.0 hours of continuing pharmacy education and pharmacy specialty recertification credits. To obtain more information and to register, visit http://www.accp.com/meetings/gc15/.
