In 2016, ACCP will launch new editions of the Pharmacotherapy Self-Assessment Program (PSAP) and the Ambulatory Care Self-Assessment Program (ACSAP), as well as two new self-assessment programs for critical care and pediatric board specialty recertification.
Each self-assessment program will have a new book released in January, May, and September of each year. The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) has approved ACCP self-assessment programs as part of a professional development program for the recertification of pharmacists who are board certified in the respective specialty.
Continuing as series editors of PSAP are John E. Murphy, Pharm.D., FCCP, FASHP; and Mary Wun-Len Lee, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS.
Cardiology, the first book in the 2016–2018 PSAP series, will be released in January 2016. The other releases are GI/Fluids and Nutrition, Women’s and Men’s Health, Endocrinology/Nephrology, Pulmonary and Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics/Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases, Hematology/Immunology/Oncology, and Neurology/Psychiatry.
