ACCP will again offer its popular Professional Placement Forum during this fall’s Global Conference on Clinical Pharmacy, October 20–23, in Seattle, Washington. This year’s forum will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018.

ACCP’s Professional Placement Forums connect prospective clinical pharmacists seeking PGY1 and PGY2 residencies, fellowships, and practitioner or faculty positions with employers seeking the right candidates. The professional atmosphere and simplified layout allow applicants to engage in one-on-one interviews and make key connections. This year’s forum will be offered in three 90-minute time slots on October 21 – residency and fellowship recruitment from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and practitioner and faculty recruitment from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Employers at the forum have ready access to clinical pharmacy’s most promising candidates. To participate this year, employers must register for the Global Conference, reserve a table, identify their on-site representatives, and submit a $75 nonrefundable fee to secure their slot(s) in the forum. Table reservations will be accepted until October 5, 2018, or until all tables are filled.

Applicants are encouraged to get a head start on identifying their next professional opportunity by attending the forum to meet and interact with participating deans, directors, preceptors, and other institutional leaders.
