Third Annual ACCP x SNPhA Collaboration Attracts Over 2000 Candidates

The American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) collaborated for the third year to offer a remote residency and fellowship showcase and other recruitment-focused events on November 12-15.

Designed to ensure increased access to clinical pharmacy career paths—regardless of financial means or ability to travel—this year’s event drew over 2000 candidates and over 1000 recruiters. The event incorporated new convenience and efficiency features for both recruiters and candidates and was expanded to include additional offerings. In addition to the Tuesday and Thursday evening PGY1/fellowship-focused showcase, the event included a PGY2-focused showcase on Wednesday evening. Also on Wednesday evening, ACCP member Jenna Cox provided an educational session on letter of intent writing for PGY1 candidates. Finally, on Friday, ACCP members participated for the first time as mock interviewers for almost 100 candidates. This successful collaboration is anticipated to continue annually.
