ACCP’s Visual Abstract Challenge allows postgraduate trainees the opportunity to combine primary literature evaluation skills with the ability to creatively communicate key components of the published research. All visual abstract submissions for the 2025 challenge were evaluated by 3 expert reviewers. Individuals with the top 5 submissions received complimentary ACCP Annual Meeting registrations and ACCP gift codes redeemable for resources of their choice. Congratulations to the finalists!

First place was awarded to Je-Won Hong, Pharm.D., pharmacy informatics postdoctoral fellow at University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. Second place was awarded to Ibrahim Alhomood, Pharm.D., PGY1 clinical pharmacy resident at King Abdulaziz Medical Center, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The other finalists were Megan McGonagle, Pharm.D., medical affairs postdoctoral fellow at GSK/UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Albeir Messiha, Pharm.D., MS MTM, PGY1 pharmacy resident at Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, Virginia; and Kaleigh Yen, Pharm.D., practice advancement fellow at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The ACCP Visual Abstract Challenge is open to current residents, fellows, and post-Pharm.D. full-time graduate students. This innovative and unique competition offers individuals an opportunity to build their visual abstract creation skills for prepublished work in preparation for their own future publications.
