I am truly humbled to be elected President-Elect of ACCP! It has always been my professional home, and best aligns with my goals for clinical practice, research, education, and training. The current landscape of health care, and clinical pharmacy in particular, has many opportunities and challenges ahead. ACCP needs to be ready to predict and pivot to potential changes while staying focused on our core purpose and advocating on behalf of our members. We must continue to highlight the impact clinical pharmacists have on medication optimization and build even stronger relationships with multidisciplinary organizations to advocate for clinical pharmacist services. In addition, we must continue to work collaboratively with other pharmacy organizations to develop, advance, and position clinical pharmacists to best serve our patients and society. I look forward to taking this journey with all of you, leading with energy, and focusing on our collective success!
