The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is accepting applications for the 2026-2028 BPS Research Seed Grant Program.
Application Deadline: July 31, 2026
Funding Available: Two grants of up to $5,000 each
BPS is seeking research proposals examining the impact of pharmacist board certification on:
- Patient outcomes
- Healthcare systems
- Interprofessional collaboration
- Pharmacist employment, professional development, and wellbeing
Eligibility: Any U.S.-based pharmacist or investigator

- BPS Board of Directors Call for Applications (2027–2029 Term)
The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is seeking applications for individuals to serve on the BPS Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 2027 and concluding December 2029.
Application Deadline: August 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET
Open Positions:
- One public member position
- Four pharmacist member positions
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required for consideration.

The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is now accepting nominations for the 2027 BPS Awards Program.
Nomination Deadline: August 24, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET
The BPS Awards Program recognizes individuals and organizations that have made meaningful contributions to advancing BPS Board Certification and the role of board-certified pharmacists in improving patient care.
Award Categories:
- BPS Rising Star Award – Recognizes early-career pharmacists making outstanding contributions to advancing BPS Board Certification.
- BPS Weaver Penna Award – Recognizes individuals for exceptional lifetime voluntary contributions to advancing BPS Board Certification.
- BPS Beacon Award – Recognizes healthcare organizations that have demonstrated outstanding support for BPS Board Certification.
