New clinical practitioners with residency training (or equivalent experience) who practice in any professional setting are encouraged to participate in the Career Advancement Certificate Program, which is designed to facilitate clinical career development. The program will help new practitioners advance their careers as clinicians, establish credible interprofessional and patient-centered roles, extend their clinical practices through mentoring and precepting, and employ practical strategies to enhance their professional standing and recognition. Career Advancement program participants complete required readings, 18.0 hours of required modules, and 10.0 hours of electives in earning their certificates.
