Membership Highlight: ACCP National Resident Advisory Committee

Are you a resident or fellow who is interested in becoming more involved with ACCP? The College encourages postgraduate trainees wishing to enhance their leadership skills, network with their colleagues from across the country, and interact with clinical pharmacy leaders to serve on the National Resident Advisory Committee (RAC).

The RAC is a standing committee composed of resident, fellow, and graduate student members appointed each year by the ACCP president-elect. Members serve a 1-year term, and the committee typically has 8–12 members. Appointed leadership positions include the chair (1-year term) and the vice chair (1-year term). The RAC serves in an advisory capacity to the ACCP Board of Regents and staff, providing guidance in developing new services and programs for postgraduate trainees.

The committee meets in person at the ACCP Annual Meeting each fall and communicates through conference calls and email to complete its assigned charges. Appointees to the RAC receive a complimentary meeting registration to attend the Annual Meeting. ACCP is accepting applications now through June 15, 2024.
