In 2026, ACCP will offer home study review courses in 11 specialties. Developed by leading board-certified pharmacists and therapeutic specialists, each course delivers a comprehensive review of the domains in the relevant specialty certification examination content outline developed by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). All courses use a case-based approach, covering all key content areas, with a strong emphasis on the thought processes needed to solve patient care problems in each therapeutic area. In addition, each course is BPS approved as one component in a professional development program that can be used as an alternative to the written recertification examination (though not every course offers recertification credit every year; see below). Every course that offers recertification credit in 2026 will be available for a minimum of 20 credit hours.

The full slate of 2026 home study courses will be released according to the following schedule.

^aACCP collaborates with ASHP on ambulatory care pharmacy, cardiology pharmacy, critical care pharmacy, emergency medicine pharmacy, geriatric pharmacy, infectious diseases pharmacy, oncology pharmacy, pain management pharmacy, pediatric pharmacy, and solid organ transplantation pharmacy activities.
