Glancing at the impeachment-dominated headlines, it’s understandable that the nation is suffering from political fatigue long before Iowans gather on February 3 for the Democratic caucuses.
However, the work of ACCP-PAC is unaffected by the partisan divide. ACCP-PAC remains committed to building and developing relationships with health care leaders from both parties who are willing to work with colleagues across the aisle to enact health care legislation focused on team-based, patient-centered care that measures and rewards quality and outcomes.
Nevertheless, these moderate bipartisan legislators will likely face significant opposition in their efforts to reach a bipartisan consensus. It is therefore vital that ACCP support such leaders to ensure they remain in Washington and continue to advance policies that meaningfully address the health care issues the nation currently faces.
A well-funded political action committee (PAC) will give ACCP the resources it needs to support its friends on Capitol Hill. ACCP-PAC is the only political action committee dedicated to electing members of Congress who are committed to advancing ACCP’s Medicare Initiative. Contributions from ACCP-PAC to members of Congress will raise the College’s profile on Capitol Hill, improve its standing among key lawmakers, and provide unique opportunities to discuss its initiative with potential congressional champions. ACCP-PAC will also help ensure that elected officials who support ACCP’s initiative remain in office to advance the proposal’s goals in the future.
If each ACCP member contributed just $25, ACCP-PAC would raise over $350,000. All ACCP members should consider donating at least $25 to ACCP-PAC. CLICK HERE to support your PAC today!
