ACCP Directory of Residencies, Fellowships, and Graduate Programs
The ACCP Directory is an indispensable resource for students and residents seeking entry into training programs in the upcoming year. Principal preceptors or directors of residencies, fellowships, or clinical scientist graduate degree programs (MS, PhD) are encouraged to list or update their programs in this directory to ensure that accurate program information is searchable by candidates. This service is provided by the College at no cost to programs or candidates. This longstanding resource has a new look and more dynamic features this year! Additional, searchable information may be included in each program’s listing to improve the candidate experience and help the right candidates connect with the right programs. To access the directory to update or to list or search for a program, go to www.accp.com/resandfel/index.aspx.
Professional Development Resources Within the DEIA Toolkit
Within the DEIA toolkit, articles and toolkits focused on inclusive recruitment within the DEIA toolkit can be accessed by filtering content by “recruitment and employment.” Among the available resources, “Incorporating Inclusive Practices into Postgraduate Recruitment” is a recorded session that provides a compelling case for the need for focused efforts to diversify the clinical pharmacy pipeline, summarizes student perspectives on clinical pharmacy career paths and recruitment processes, and describes actionable steps for incorporating inclusive practices into postgraduate program recruitment. As programs enter this recruitment season, this important resource provides the information necessary to evaluate existing policies and practices for bias and implement strategies to mitigate it. Delivered by Drs Jacinda Abdul-Mutakkabir, Tyler Marie Kiles, and Sally Arif, published experts in the field, and moderated by Dr Frank North, National Pharmaceutical Association president, this session is sure to provide the information and inspiration needed to influence your organization’s recruitment process to address barriers to inclusion. Please share this resource with your colleagues—it is available to both ACCP members and nonmembers free of charge. Access the session here and the DEIA toolkit here.
