A well-written curriculum vitae (CV) and letter of intent (LOI) create a positive image to future selection committees or employers and distinguish you from the rest of the crowd. As questions arise in preparing your CV and/or LOI, or once finished, wouldn’t it be helpful to have a seasoned professional review them?
ACCP student and postgraduate trainee members can now submit their CV and/or LOI online as a PDF document for a volunteer ACCP member to review. The reviewer will provide his or her suggestions, and participants will receive an email containing feedback within 14 business days.
Both the On-Demand CV Review Service and the Letter of Intent Review Service are open year-round, allowing you to upload them for review anytime you like. Once your initial CV and/or LOI review is complete, you can choose to receive input from a second reviewer. When preparing them for review, be sure to take advantage of ACCP’s web-based CV and LOI resources. Learn the basics of CV formatting, view example CVs, and access valuable CV pearls that provide practical insights for developing your CV. You can also learn about tips for developing and formatting an LOI, review LOI “dos and don’ts,” and view sample LOIs.
