Plan now to attend ACCP Academy programming to be offered in conjunction with the 2011 ACCP Annual Meeting, October 16–19, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The foundational prerequisite courses for the Teaching and Learning program and the Career Advancement (formerly Clinical Practice Advancement) program, as well as a required course for the Research and Scholarship program, will be presented as premeeting symposia on Saturday, October 15. “Basic Training for Teaching and Learning,” the “Clinical Practice Primer for Career Development,” and “Regulatory/Ethical Issues for Research and Scholarship” will be presented as presymposia. A separate registration fee is required to attend each of these sessions.
Additional required and elective ACCP Academy courses will be presented throughout the Annual Meeting for each Academy track, including the fourth track, Leadership and Management. Academy courses presented during the Annual Meeting are included in the meeting registration fee. A schedule of Academy programming, both for presymposia and courses included within the Annual Meeting, is provided below.
