ACCP is pleased to announce the field of teams for the inaugural Clinical Pharmacy Challenge. Eighty-four teams registered and began competition in Online Round 1 on September 8, 2011. Click here for a complete listing of the 2011 ACCP Clinical Pharmacy Challenge field.

These teams of three students will compete in a “quiz bowl” format. Each competition round will consist of questions offered in the three distinct segments indicated below. An expert panel of clinical pharmacy practitioners and educators has developed and reviewed item content used in each segment.

• Trivia/Lightning
• Clinical Case
• Jeopardy-style

At the conclusion of Online Round 1, the top 64 teams advanced to Online Round 2. After the Online Round 2 competition, the top 32 teams will advance to Online Round 3. The top 16 teams will advance to compete in Online Round 4. At the conclusion of Online Round 4, the top eight teams will be announced. These eight teams will advance to the quarterfinal round of the competition at the Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh on October 15, 2011.
