Ellingrod Appointed to the PPI BOD

Vicki L. Ellingrod, Pharm.D., FCCP

Vicki L. Ellingrod, Pharm.D., FCCP, has been appointed by Jill M. Kolesar, ACCP president, to the Pharmacotherapy Publications, Inc. (PPI) Board of Directors (BOD), upon the BOD's recommendation. Ellingrod is an associate dean of research and graduate education at the University of Michigan, the John Gideon Searle Professor of Clinical and Translational Psychiatry, and a professor of psychiatry and psychology.

Ellingrod earned her B.S. and Pharm.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in psychopharmacology/pharmacogenetics at the University of Iowa. As faculty at the University of Iowa, she completed a K08 training grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). In 2006, she joined the University of Michigan as an associate professor.

Ellingrod's research has primarily been funded by NIMH and focuses on the pharmacogenomics of mental health treatment. She is a founding member of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists and a full member of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology. Ellingrod is a scientific editor for Pharmacotherapy and editor for the 11th edition of the DiPiro textbook Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach.
