The 2019 ACCP Annual Meeting offers you ample opportunity to learn and network. Past residents designed one session with the needs of current residents in mind. Be sure to attend “Your First Real Job: Research, Evaluate, Negotiate” on Sunday, October 27, at 4:00 p.m. Drs. Erin McCreary and Frank Paloucek will force you to think beyond residency to your very first job. They will show you how to find and research positions, evaluate different components of each, and determine what is negotiable.
In addition, all residents and fellows should attend a PRN business meeting and networking forum. If you are already a PRN member, check the schedule to see when your PRN is meeting. If you have not joined a PRN, attend a PRN meeting of interest and ask about opportunities for trainee members.
