Membership Highlight: ACCP Spring Forum and Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course

The ACCP Spring Forum and Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course

The ACCP Spring Forum offers Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses for Specialty Certification Examinations administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), ACCP Academy professional development certificate programs, the Clinical Practice Forum, poster presentations, and a biostatistics premeeting workshop.

The Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course is ideal for pharmacy professionals preparing for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties Pharmacotherapy Specialty Certification Examination, for Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialists (BCPSs) seeking recertification through continuing education, and for those seeking a self-paced refresher of pharmacotherapy topics.

Developed and presented by board-certified pharmacotherapy specialists, the course provides a comprehensive review of the knowledge domains covered in the pharmacotherapy specialty. Using a case-based approach, the course strongly emphasizes the thought processes needed to solve patient care problems in each area.

This course is offered in two formats: live and home study. The home-study materials will be released in June in a variety of formats to best suit your learning style.

The Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course meeting will be held April 25-26, 2020, in St. Louis, Missouri.
