ACCP is offering FREE opportunities for students and postgraduate trainees to connect with additional training programs and employers. During the Virtual Residency and Fellowship Showcase on October 29, 2021, and Virtual Professional Placement Meetings on November 11 and 12, 2021, you will have the opportunity to:
- Submit your CV and candidate profile online for hiring representatives to view in advance
- Meet with preceptors, program directors, and administrators seeking candidates
- Learn more and ask questions about each available position
- Submit an early bid for highly coveted positions
Residency and Fellowship Showcase on October 29: This early opportunity to learn about programs from across the country is free for all students and residents. Annual Meeting registration is not required, and the event is open to both ACCP members and non-members. During the live event, you can interact directly with program directors and current residents through routine videoconferencing platforms (program’s choice) that you are likely already accustomed to. Upon registration, you will gain access to the program listing database and can search for programs of interest. Plan to register early to allow registered programs to view your profile and CV.
Professional Placement Meetings on November 11 and 12: These meetings are by invitation only. Access to the meeting link will be provided by the recruiter. Recruiters may choose to invite you during the Residency and Fellowship Showcase, or they may send invitations after the showcase event. Completing your Candidate Profile will allow recruiters to evaluate your qualifications, experience, and CV in advance. After the showcase, you may choose to review position listings and contact the programs of greatest interest to request a meeting with them during the Professional Placement Meetings event.
