Each abstract will be scored on 3 areas: content, quality, and significance. Each assessment will receive a score ranging from 0-1 (maximum score =12). The abstract with the highest average point total will receive the travel award with preference given to students, residents, fellows, and new practitioners (completed training within the last 5 years). The abstract must receive a minimum average score of 50% to be considered for award selection. In the absence of high-quality abstracts, the travel awards may not be given every year.
