The Drug Information PRN is offering a travel award in the amount of $1,000 for one student who will be presenting a drug information-related poster or research at the 2026 ACCP Annual Meeting.

The student/resident/fellow should submit the following: 1) Current CV 2) The submitted ACCP abstract for poster or research presentation 3) A brief description regarding how this project/activity is important to drug information specialists

The Geriatrics PRN will be offering up to 2 (two) Pharmacy Student Travel Awards to attend the 2026 ACCP Annual Meeting.

• Student member of ACCP and Member of ACCP Geriatrics PRN
• Must attend the Geriatrics PRN Business Meeting at the ACCP National Meeting

• Two letters of recommendation from a clinical pharmacy practitioner or faculty member
• Personal statement (maximum 500 words) describing the applicant’s interest in geriatric pharmacotherapy, and how attending the ACCP annual meeting will further the applicant's career goals.

This award acknowledges up to four outstanding pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and/or fellows who have shown excellence in ID through clinical practice, research and/or publications, ID pharmacy education and ID PRN service. In addition, a distinguished trainee should maintain high standards of professionalism and serve as a role model for other trainees.

Eligibility Criteria

The Nominee must:

• Be an ACCP trainee (student, resident, or fellow) member in good standing

• Be an ACCP Infectious Diseases PRN member

• Current trainee or not more than 6 months removed from terminal degree from an accredited college/school of pharmacy) or training program (e.g. PGY2 residency or PGY2 diseases-related residency) at the time of ACCP Annual Meeting in October (i.e. PGY2 residents completing training in June/July are eligible) Graduating trainees can apply for trainee awards in the same calendar year as graduation (e.g. graduating in July 2026, can apply for trainee award in 2026).

• Have conducted research in an area applicable to infectious diseases and be presenting that research at the ACCP Annual Meeting. This research must be an accepted abstract at the ACCP Annual Meeting as either completed research or research-in-progress.

• To be considered for the student award, research must have been conducted while a PharmD student

• To be considered for the resident/fellow award, research must have been conducted while a post-PharmD resident or fellow

• Prior recipients of an Infectious Diseases PRN travel award are not eligible.

• Recipients of a travel award from another PRN for the same conference during the same year are not eligible.

•  Must be able to attend the ID PRN Business and Networking Meeting at the ACCP Annual Meeting (virtual 2026)

 Current members of the ACCP ID PRN Executive and Awards Committees are not eligible for the Distinguished Trainee Award.

Nomination Submission Requirements:

• Completed attestations of eligibility for the specific award (see Appendix I)

• Updated curriculum vitae

• Personal statement from the nominee

  • Describe goals and interests related to ID

  • Describe plans to maintain research and scholarship in ID

  • Describe plans to maintain teaching related to ID

  • Describe plans to maintain clinical activities in ID

• One letter of recommendation from:

  • One mentor (e.g., faculty member, program director, preceptor) who can attest to the clinical skills and/or research performance of the nominee. Letter of recommendation does not have to be from an ACCP member.

The personal statement and letter of recommendation should clearly document the nominee’s desire to pursue a career involving practice, research and education in the field of infectious diseases, and any additional information that distinguishes the nominee.

Individuals can nominate themselves.

The Pain and Palliative Care PRN will offer one student and one resident who are presenting pain and/or palliative care-related research/poster at the ACCP Annual Meeting October 17-20 a travel award of $500 to support costs associated with the meeting.

Candidates for the award must be either a full-time pharmacy student pursuing their Doctor of Pharmacy degree or pharmacy resident. They must be a member of ACCP. They must be presenting pain and/or palliative care-related research/poster at the 2025 ACCP Annual Meeting. They must agree to attend the Pain and Palliative Care PRN business meeting at the conference and agree to present a 5-10 minute summary presentation on their research/poster at the business meeting.
